Prenatal Classes

The goals of my class include, to:
Prepare you for a healthy, natural birth for you and your baby;

Teach you and your partner how he or she can comfort you during the birth;

Provide 24/7 support to answer all your questions;

Help you discover your natural abilities to birth and parent; and

Present the knowledge needed to give your baby the best start in life.

Class are relaxed and interactive, sometimes irreverent and always very informative. You can expect to walk away feeling confident and calm, proud of your great investment of time, excited for your labour, and with a great set of friends to enjoy during  your maternity leave.


Complete Childbirth Class - 10wks

I recommend all first time moms and their partners take this course.

Partners/Fathers Role

Relaxation, Massage, and Breathing

Pregnancy and Testing

Labour and Birth

Interventions and Complications

Postpartum

Baby care

Breastfeeding

Parenting

Registration includes:

25+ hours of prenatal instruction and coach preparation

Comprehensive student workbook

Additional readings and online student centre

2 hour labour rehearsal

Unlimited phone and email support before, during and after birth


Students should begin classes before their 28th week of pregnancy in order to complete the full course. See the side for the schedule.

Refresher Childbirth  Class - 4 hours

This 1 day class is for previous students and mothers and partners who have already experienced birth.(Note: this class is not recommended for new labour partners with experienced mothers).

Topics include:

Exercise and Nutrition (briefly)

Relaxation, Massage, and Breathing

Pregnancy and Testing

Labour and Birth

Interventions and Complications

Parenting two or more

Registration includes:

4 hours of prenatal instruction and coach preparation

Additional readings and online student centre

Unlimited phone and email support before, during and after birth


Students should complete classes before their 37th week of pregnancy. See the side for the schedule.
